What is Zero Depreciation Cover?

  • Zero Depreciation cover protects your vehicle from depreciation of consumable parts such as plastic, fibre, etc to ensure your claim amount remains unaffected. Without this, up to 50% of your claim amount requiring plastic replacement, could be denied pertaining to the age of vehicle parts.

How to raise a claim request?

You can either raise a claim by directly contacting the insurer or by connecting with Ola Electric helpline number at 08033113311

Here is the process for different Insurers:

Acko claim steps
1. Call 1800-266-2256 or login to acko.com with your registered mobile number mentioned on your policy copy.
2. You will be asked to verify via an OTP sent to your registered number
3. Enter your Cx will be able to his Policy Card,
4. click on 'Claim Now'
5. Answer a few questions that follow and you are done. Acko's claims expert will get back to you shortly and assist you on the next steps
or claim can be raised via Acko App as well

2. We'll share a link with you for self inspection on your registered mobile number.

Do you offer Roadside Assistance ?

Roadside assistance is offered free of charge for issues covered under warranty. For accidental cases, it is offered for a convenience charge of Rs 1999+GST. 

This service is included in both Ola Care and Ola Care + plans and is free for subscribers.

Why is it mandatory to select insurance for Financing Journey?

  • Banks mandate to share the insurance copy with them before they can disburse the loan. Please select the insurance offered on the Ola Portal to speed up the vehicle delivery process.

When do we have to purchase insurance?

  • Submitting your insurance policy is mandatory to initiate the RTO process. If you are buying the insurance on your own we strongly advise you to buy it as soon as we share your vehicle details.

If I choose the insurance suggested on the Ola portal, will I get support from Ola while making a claim?

  • Absolutely! you can reach out to us on our helpline number and we will help you out at the time of your claim.

Is it possible to get lesser price insurance outside of Ola portal?

  • Our insurance is the best in terms of price and value for the given IDV and motor power in India.

Is it compulsory that we go with insurance company suggested on the Ola portal?

  • No, you can choose your own insurer. However, we suggest you to opt for insurers from our portal for a better claim experience and hassle-free cashless service.

What is Personal Accident Cover?

  • By purchasing this cover, you get a 15 Lakh coverage against death or permanent disability. It is legally mandated to own a Personal Accident Cover while driving on roads in India. You should skip this only if you already have another cover.

What is the cover we get from the insurer suggested on the Ola portal?

  • This insurance will cover 1 year of own damage cover + 5 years of 3rd party damage cover. We also recommend add-ons such as Zero Depreciation Cover and Personal Accident Cover to avail extra benefits.

What is the Insured Declared Value (IDV) given in the insurance?

  • The Insured Declared Value is the maximum assured sum fixed by your insurer in case of theft or total loss of a vehicle.

What insurance options are available on Ola for the S1 Pro?

  • Currently, we offer insurance from 3 renowned insurers - Acko, Digit and ICICI Lombard.

When will I be able to reserve the Ola bikes?

  • The reservation for all the four Ola Bikes - Diamondhead, Cruiser, Adventure, Roadster is open and you can reserve it on the Ola Website for ₹999.

What is the release date for Ola Bikes?

  • Ola bikes are currently under development and are slated for a launch during the end of 2024. You shall receive regular updates about the various stages of development and release.

Will I be able to purchase all the four new Ola Bikes at the same time?

  • The dates may vary from Ola Bike to another. All Ola Bikes are currently under development and are slated for a launch during the end of 2024.

What are all the features that will be available with Ola Bikes?

All Ola Bikes are currently under development and all the features will be announced closer to the launch date.

What will be the price range of the Ola Bikes?

  • The prices will vary from variant to variant for all the Ola Bikes and it shall be announced closer to the launch date.

What is the criteria for a refund?

OLA S1 Pro customers who have their vehicle invoice date on or before 30th March 2023 are eligible for a refund

How do I know my invoice date?

  • Check your vehicle invoice for your invoice date. Or you can open the OLA app and head to Your Orders → OLA S1 Pro Order → View Invoice → Vehicle Invoice

What is the process of getting the refund?

  • Customers who are eligible for a refund will be notified and asked to submit their bank details via the OLA App. Once these details are verified, it will take a few weeks for the refund to reflect in their account.

Where can I check whether the refund is processed successfully?

  • To check the status of your refund, open the OLA app and go to Your Orders → OLA S1 Pro order → Claim your charger refund

I have submitted my bank details in the OLA App. How long will it take for the refund to be processed?

  • Once we have verified your bank details, it will take a few weeks for the refund to reflect in your account.

What are the payment methods that are available for making the balance payment?

  • You can choose from a wide variety of payment methods on the Ola app like Debit card, Credit card, UPI or Netbanking. If you want to opt for financing, you can avail attractive EMI options by clicking on the "Pay In Installments" option on the payment page. Our current financing partners are IDFC, AXIS, ICICI, Kotak, and HDFC bank. We have made the financing easier for you with multiple payment options such as credit card EMI and loans. You can either avail a loan from the 5 finance partners we have tied up with or any offline banking or financial institution of your choice or pay via cash. How do I view the delivery date after making the balance payment?

  • The dispatch date will be visible on the Ola app as soon as you complete your final payment.

How long will the payment window remain open?

  • Once the final payment window opens, it will stay open until further notice. Do keep in mind that the sooner you make the final payment, the sooner your Ola scooter will be dispatched.

How do I opt for financing during the final payment for my Ola Scooter?

  • You can opt for financing during the final payment of your Ola Scooter by choosing the "Pay in Installments" option.

How much interest will I have to pay if I opt for Financing through Ola?

  • If you chose to opt for financing through Ola, interest rate starts from approx 8.3% and it goes upto 11.26% per annum as per simple interest. This varies from Financer to Financer and also depends on the customer's credit profile.

What documents are accepted as proof of address?

  • You will be required to upload a scanned copy of your Aadhaar as address proof. In some states you might need to upload additional address proof as well. The documents that can be provided as address proof are your voter card, Indian passport, electricity bill or a legal affidavit, in case the current address does not match the existing address.

What will happen if I am not eligible for a loan during the balance payment?

  • Loan sanctioning depends on the financing partner. If you are unable to secure a loan from a given financing partner, you can choose a different financing partner or try a different payment method.

I have purchased the Ola scooter but need to make changes in my booking, how should I do that?

  • You may change your registration details (name and address) and vehicle preference details (variant and colour) for each of your reservations via the Ola app. You cannot however, transfer a reservation from one phone number to another. Registration details and the vehicle colour can be modified till the time of balance payment. The vehicle variant can only be changed before making the full payment.

How can I cancel my Reservation/Purchase?

  • You can cancel your booking and get a full refund, till the time your Ola scooter is shipped from the Ola Futurefactory, the amount will be credited to your source account within 7-10 business days.

    You can cancel your reservation before making the balance payment through the Ola app:

    Step 1: Go to the Ola S1 pro tab in your Ola App

    Step 2: Under 'your reservations' click on the displayed Order ID

    Step 3: Click on 'Cancel reservation'

    Step 4: Confirm your cancellation

Can I change the details of the person I want the scooter to be registered to?

Yes, you can update details for registering your scooter via the Ola app - till the time you upload the documents on the Ola app

What EMI options are available for my purchase of S1 X?

The S1 X (all variants) EMI will be available for starting at ₹1,899 per month. This EMI is calculated for 60 months with an interest rate of 6.99%*.

Is referral bonus available on the purchase of S1 X?

When can I purchase the all new S1 X and S1 X+?

The S1 X range of scooters are available in four different variants - S1 X+, S1 X (2kWh), S1 X (3kWh), and S1 X (4kWh). The S1 X+ is available to purchase now at a price of ₹94,999. The S1 X (4kWh), and S1 X (3kWh) are available to purchase now at a price of ₹1,01,999, and ₹77,999 respectively. The S1 X (2kWh) is available to purchase now at an introductory price of ₹69,999.

I have reserved the S1 Air, what will be the price that I need to pay during purchase?

The reservation amount of ₹999 will be adjusted when you purchase the scooter.

Can I change the colour of the scooter post reservation?

You will get the option to change the colour during the time of purchase.

When can I test ride the S1 Air?

Test rides will scale up in Experience Centres near you across India from 1st week of August onwards.

When will deliveries start?

The S1 Air deliveries will start in August. You can find your estimated delivery date at the time of purchase on the Ola App.

Is referral bonus available on the reservation/ purchase of the Air?

New scooters delivered after MoveOS 4.0 final rollout will have it as the default software. Any new scooter that will be delivered until then will have MoveOS 3.0 software but will get upgraded to MoveOS 4.0 when the final rollout is released.

How will I get to know that I have received the MoveOS 4.0 update?

You will be notified regarding the update  on the scooter dashboard and companion app.

For the customers who have not received Hill Hold yet, will it be available with MoveOS 4.0

Hill hold feature is available for all S1 Pro - 1st generation customers. If you do not have Hill Hold feature available on your scooter, the service team can help enable the feature for you.

Why is the Beta version given to select customers only?

Are all customer eligible for Beta version of MoveOS 4.0?

For the Beta rollout, registrations will open in September. All customers signing up during the registration will be included in the Beta rollout.
