Why is S1 not eligible for charger refund?
We have agreed with the Government to refund the charger amount to only our S1 Pro customers. S1 customers are not eligible for the charger refund.
Where can I check whether the refund is processed successfully?

The S1 X (4kWh), and S1 X (3kWh) are available to purchase now at a price of ₹99,999, and ₹84,999 respectively. The S1 X (2kWh) is available to purchase now at an introductory price of ₹69,999.

What is FAME II Subsidy and what are it's benefits?
To promote the manufacture and use of electric vehicles in India, the Govt. of India has introduced the FAME II (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles Phase II) subsidy. It is a benefit given to the purchaser of the electric vehicle in the form of an upfront price reduction. The FAME II subsidy amount would be a minimum of the following:
(i) 40% of the ex-showroom price (OR)
(ii) INR 15,000 per KWH of battery capacity
What is the eligibility criteria for FAME II?
Any individual who has a valid identity proof and has never claimed the FAME II subsidy before for an electric 2-wheeler is eligible. The name on the identity proof must exactly match the name provided during the registration.
How do I apply for claiming FAME II subsidy?
The FAME subsidy will be factored in the scooter price if you are eligible for it and will not have to be claimed separately.
If you are found to be ineligible for the subsidy during the document verification stage, you will be required to pay the full price.
What is State subsidy? Is the price included in the invoice?
Similar to the FAME II subsidy provided by the Central Govt., the State subsidy is provided by the respective State Govt. to promote the purchase of electric vehicles. Each state has their own EV policies, which may or may not include a subsidy. The State subsidy amount needs to be claimed separately, post the delivery of the Ola scooter. However for Meghalaya, your final payment amount would include the subsidy benefit.
How do I activate Cruise Control?
Cruise Control can be activated between 20 kmph and 80 kmph by pressing the button with the Cruise Control/Reverse icon on it.
How do I pair my phone with the scooter?
To pair your phone with the scooter:
1. Switch on Bluetooth on your device and the scooter's dash.
2. Initiate pairing with your scooter from the phone's Bluetooth settings.
3. The scooter will be visible as 'Scooter Name _ Music'.
4. Select the scooter and initiate pairing.
5. Confirm the pairing passcode on the dash and your device to complete pairing.
Can I navigate a route with a charging station?
Nearby charging stations are currently not integrated with Navigation.
However, you can search for charging stations at malls, offices, hotels or other public places and navigate to them.
How do I deactivate Cruise Control?
There are three ways to deactivate Cruise Control:
1. By pressing the Cruise Control/Reverse button.
2. By pressing the brakes.
3. By giving throttle inputs.
Is Cruise Control Status indicated on the display?
Cruise Control status is indicated on the display as follows:
1. Cruise Control Icon not present - Feature is not active.
2. Cruise Control Icon is green - Feature is active.
3. Cruise Control Icon is amber - Feature is not available due to a fault or speed conditions not being met.
Activation and deactivation of Cruise Control are also accompanied by chimes.
At what speed can Cruise Control be activated?
Cruise Control can be activated between 20 kmph and 80 kmph on Normal, Sport and Hyper modes.
Why is my Cruise Control not working?
Cruise Control will not get activated if:
1. Your scooter's speed is less than 20 kmph or more than 80 kmph.
2. There is an internal fault in the scooter and Cruise Control is disabled for safety reasons.
3. Battery level is less than 15%.
4. Scooter is in ECO mode
Is Cruise Control available across all modes?
Cruise Control can be activated in Normal, Sport, and Hyper mode. Cruise Control will not be avialble when the scooter in in ECO mode
Will my phone connect to the scooter automatically?
Yes. A phone that is already paired will connect automatically when the scooter is within range.
How can I play my music on the scooter?
Your scooter has state-of-the-art built-in speakers to play your music.
You will have to pair your phone with the scooter via Bluetooth. Once paired and connected to the scooter, you can use your phone's media player to play music on the scooter's speakers.
How can I control music on the scooter?
You can use the scooter's dash and D-pad for the following music controls:
- Play/Pause music.
- Change tracks to the previous and next track.
- Increase/decrease the volume.
Refer to the Handlebar Controls on your User Manual for the exact controls.
How do I know if I have sufficient charge to reach the destination?
The available range of your battery is displayed on the status bar.
How to start Navigation on the Scooter?
Swipe left on the display screen to access Navigation.
Tap on the search box and enter your destination.
Select the destination among search results and tap on 'Start' to begin 'Turn-by-Turn' navigation.
I am not able to view traffic data on Navigation.
Traffic data might be unavailable due to poor internet connectivity. Try moving to a zone with better network and wait for your scooter to connect to the internet.

Turn-by-Turn Navigation is not working. How do I navigate?
Make sure you are in a zone with good internet connectivity for Navigation to work.
If Navigation isn't working, it could be because you are in a covered area like a basement or tunnel. Take your scooter to an open location and wait a couple of minutes GPS to connect.

I am unable to search for or find my destination on Navigation.
There could be instances when the searched destination is unavailable as places are constantly getting updated on the map. In this case, you can use the 'Locate on Map' feature to drop a pin on the location you are searching for and navigate to it.

What is Zero Depreciation Cover?
Zero Depreciation cover protects your vehicle from depreciation of consumable parts such as plastic, fibre, etc to ensure your claim amount remains unaffected. Without this, up to 50% of your claim amount requiring plastic replacement, could be denied pertaining to the age of vehicle parts.
When will I be able to reserve the Ola bikes?
The reservation for all the four Ola Bikes - Diamondhead, Cruiser, Adventure, Roadster is open and you can reserve it on the Ola Website for ₹999.
What is the release date for Ola Bikes?
Ola bikes are currently under development and are slated for a launch during the end of 2024. You shall receive regular updates about the various stages of development and release.

Do you offer Roadside Assistance ?
Roadside assistance is offered free of charge for issues covered under warranty. For accidental cases, it is offered for a convenience charge of Rs 1999+GST.
This service is included in both Ola Care and Ola Care + plans and is free for subscribers.
Why is it mandatory to select insurance for Financing Journey?
Banks mandate to share the insurance copy with them before they can disburse the loan. Please select the insurance offered on the Ola Portal to speed up the vehicle delivery process.
When do we have to purchase insurance?
Submitting your insurance policy is mandatory to initiate the RTO process. If you are buying the insurance on your own we strongly advise you to buy it as soon as we share your vehicle details.
If I choose the insurance suggested on the Ola portal, will I get support from Ola while making a claim?
Absolutely! you can reach out to us on our helpline number and we will help you out at the time of your claim.
Is it possible to get lesser price insurance outside of Ola portal?
Our insurance is the best in terms of price and value for the given IDV and motor power in India.
Is it compulsory that we go with insurance company suggested on the Ola portal?
No, you can choose your own insurer. However, we suggest you to opt for insurers from our portal for a better claim experience and hassle-free cashless service.
What is Personal Accident Cover?
By purchasing this cover, you get a 15 Lakh coverage against death or permanent disability. It is legally mandated to own a Personal Accident Cover while driving on roads in India. You should skip this only if you already have another cover.
Will I be able to purchase all the four new Ola Bikes at the same time?
The dates may vary from Ola Bike to another. All Ola Bikes are currently under development and are slated for a launch during the end of 2024.
What is the cover we get from the insurer suggested on the Ola portal?
This insurance will cover 1 year of own damage cover + 5 years of 3rd party damage cover. We also recommend add-ons such as Zero Depreciation Cover and Personal Accident Cover to avail extra benefits.
What is the Insured Declared Value (IDV) given in the insurance?
The Insured Declared Value is the maximum assured sum fixed by your insurer in case of theft or total loss of a vehicle.
What insurance options are available on Ola for the S1 Pro?
Currently, we offer insurance from 3 renowned insurers - Acko, Digit and ICICI Lombard.
What are the payment methods that are available for making the balance payment?
You can choose from a wide variety of payment methods on the Ola app like Debit card, Credit card, UPI or Netbanking. If you want to opt for financing, you can avail attractive EMI options by clicking on the "Pay In Installments" option on the payment page. Our current financing partners are IDFC, AXIS, ICICI, Kotak, and HDFC bank. We have made the financing easier for you with multiple payment options such as credit card EMI and loans. You can either avail a loan from the 5 finance partners we have tied up with or any offline banking or financial institution of your choice or pay via cash. How do I view the delivery date after making the balance payment?
The dispatch date will be visible on the Ola app as soon as you complete your final payment.
How long will the payment window remain open?
Once the final payment window opens, it will stay open until further notice. Do keep in mind that the sooner you make the final payment, the sooner your Ola scooter will be dispatched.
How do I opt for financing during the final payment for my Ola Scooter?
You can opt for financing during the final payment of your Ola Scooter by choosing the "Pay in Installments" option.
How much interest will I have to pay if I opt for Financing through Ola?
If you chose to opt for financing through Ola, interest rate starts from approx 8.3% and it goes upto 11.26% per annum as per simple interest. This varies from Financer to Financer and also depends on the customer's credit profile.
What documents are accepted as proof of address?
You will be required to upload a scanned copy of your Aadhaar as address proof. In some states you might need to upload additional address proof as well. The documents that can be provided as address proof are your voter card, Indian passport, electricity bill or a legal affidavit, in case the current address does not match the existing address.
What will happen if I am not eligible for a loan during the balance payment?
Loan sanctioning depends on the financing partner. If you are unable to secure a loan from a given financing partner, you can choose a different financing partner or try a different payment method.

I have purchased the Ola scooter but need to make changes in my booking, how should I do that?
You may change your registration details (name and address) and vehicle preference details (variant and colour) for each of your reservations via the Ola app. You cannot however, transfer a reservation from one phone number to another. Registration details and the vehicle colour can be modified till the time of balance payment. The vehicle variant can only be changed before making the full payment.
How can I cancel my Reservation/Purchase?
You can cancel your booking and get a full refund, till the time your Ola scooter is shipped from the Ola Futurefactory, the amount will be credited to your source account within 7-10 business days.

How will I get to know that I have received the MoveOS 4.0 update?
You will be notified regarding the update on the scooter dashboard and companion app.

How do I reset a shared passcode?
If you do share your passcode with anyone else (like a valet or an acquaintance), it's best to change your passcode immediately after use. To reset your passcode, go to Ola Electric scooter passcode settings
Which version of Android and iOS is the Ola Electric app compatible with?
The app is compatible with devices running on Android OS 7 and above, and iOS 12 and above. Also, the Bluetooth version should be 4.2 and above
What will happen to my profile if I change my device?
You can download the app on your new device and login with the same mobile number as before.
Can I update my phone number/Email ID on the Ola Electric app?
You can't update your phone number/Email ID on the Ola Electric app.
Can I add profiles for my family members or friends?
No. Currently, you can only add a single profile, which is your primary profile. However, your friends and family will be able to use the scooter by entering the passcode on the dash.
Can I use two scooters with the same login?
No, you can use only one scooter from a particular login. If you want to access a second scooter through the Ola Electric App, you will have to login with an alternate mobile number.
Can I use the Ola Electric app on two different devices to access my scooter?
No. You can access the scooter only through a single device. If you do login from another device, you will automatically be logged out of the first one.
Can I use two apps -- one on Android and another on iOS -- to access my scooter?
No. You can access the scooter only through a single device. If you do login from another device, you will be automatically logged out of the first one.
How can I access my scooter if I have lost/damaged my phone?
You can unlock your scooter by entering the passcode on the dash. Further, please report the phone's loss or theft by calling us on 080-68964071. Our customer support team will assist you with the unmapping the lost phone number and if required mapping a new phone number.
How can my friends/family use my scooter?
You can share your passcode with your family/friends and they can unlock the scooter by entering it on the dash. However, if you share your passcode with anyone else (like a valet or an acquaintance), it's best to change your passcode immediately after use. To reset your passcode, go to the Ola Electric scooter passcode settings.
How do I let my family/friends use the scooter?
You can share your scooter passcode with your family/friends and they can unlock the scooter by entering it on the Dash. However, if you do share your passcode with anyone else (like a valet or an acquaintance), it's best to change your passcode immediately after use. To reset your passcode, go to Ola Electric app -> Profile -> Change Passcode.
How do I lock/unlock my scooter?
There are two ways to lock/unlock your scooter:
1. Enter the passcode on the dash.
2. Click on the lock/unlock button on the app when your scooter and smartphone are connected via Bluetooth
Is it necessary to have the Ola Electric app to use the scooter?
No, it is not necessary to have the app. However, we recommend downloading the app for a holistic experience. Features such as remote locking and unlocking, trunk opening, and music can be accessed via the app.

Ola's Hypercharger and Home Chargers come with an IP rating of IP55 and IP67 respectively. Come rain or snow, you can charge your scooter. However, as a precautionary measure, we recommend not to start or stop charging while it is still raining.

A maximum of five incorrect attempts are allowed, after which you will have to wait for five minutes to try again.
This is repeated until you enter the right passcode. You will be notified on the Ola Electric app when your scooter gets locked due to five incorrect passcode attempts.
When will I get a low battery alert?
You will get an alert when the battery goes below 20% on the dash as well as with a notification chime.

Regenerative braking helps recharge the battery, thus increasing the range. This can be done in three ways: - Coast regen - Decreasing the throttle will automatically enable coasting regen. - Brake regen - Engaging the brakes will enable brake regen. - Forced regen - Decreasing the throttle all the way to the negative throttle region triggers forced regen. This has the highest regen capacity.
At what battery level can I use Sports/Hyper mode?

Post delivery, how do I set up the scooter before my first ride?
Scooter set up happens on the app where you can select the different unlocking methods for the scooter. Once the scooter is delivered, you can unlock the scooter to start using its features. The FTUX will take users through the set of features present in the scooter.
You can pair your smart phone to the HMI by enabling bluetooth pairing from HMI settings.
What happens during a routine service?
We will do a general inspection of your scooter during the service. The checklist will include critical functional areas of the scooter including connections and fitments which can be electrical, or electro-mechanical in nature. We will also address any additional issues faced by you as well.
Is there a waiting period to avail services under Ola Care / Care+ subscription?
Customers who have purchased Ola Care/Care+ plans after their scooter delivery will have a 7 day waiting period for availing roadside towing and breakdown associated services under their chosen plan. Does the Ola battery need to be replaced after a certain period of time? How much would it cost to buy then?
The Ola Scooter's battery is covered by a 3-year warranty. If there are any manufacturing defects in your battery during this period, it will be taken care of by us free of charge. With the rise of the EV industry the battery technology will continue to evolve which will have an impact on the cost that will go down considerably from what it would be priced at today.
Additionally, we are offering an optional extended warranty for 2 years (both comprehensive and battery alone) to extend your quality assurance.
What are the details of the Ola battery?
The Ola Scooter comes with a state-of-art lithium-ion battery designed to enhance performance and battery life. The battery packs have an IP67 rating and use high energy density Li-ion cells, which aid in performance and long range. The advanced Battery Management System (BMS) helps in battery monitoring, data management, power distribution and energy management, giving the battery a longer life. The battery pack in the S1 Pro and the S1 have a rated power of 3.97 kWh and 2.98 kWh respectively.
What is the warranty period of the Ola Scooter?
The Ola scooter comes with a warranty of 3 years/40,000 km (whichever is earlier), and the battery comes with a warranty of 3 years/unlimited km. We are also offering an extended warranty on your scooter and battery for up to 2 years*. For more details, you can refer to the extended warranty pricing in our app or website.

Are the batteries of the Ola Scooter fixed or removable?
The batteries in the Ola scooter are fixed to offer you the best-in-class energy density. This ensures you get the highest range, the maximum bootspace, and gold-standard safety!

What is the validity of the Ola Care/Ola Care+ subscription?

How do I avail the free taxi service that is offered in my Ola Care+ subscription?
Once your scooter breakdown case is registered and verified, our local support provider will get in touch with you. In the event of towing, customers can communicate to the service provider that they will require a taxi service for their onward journey. Upon receiving the request, if applicable, the service provider will arrange for a taxi through their own network of fulfillment partners. This service will be free for the customer within the specified limit (₹1,000). Any amount excess of the limit will be borne by the customer. The amount, if any, will be communicated to the customer by the service provider.
How do I avail the free hotel stay service that is offered in my Ola Care+ subscription?
Once your breakdown is registered and verified, our local support provider will get in touch with you. In the event of towing outside municipal city limits (greater than 25 km), customers can communicate to the service provider that they will require hotel accommodation. Upon receiving the request, if applicable, the service provider will arrange for a hotel after consulting with the customer through their own network of fulfilment partners. This service will be free for the customer within the specified limit (₹ 2,000 for 1 night). Any amount excess of the limit needs to be borne by the customer. The amount, if any, will be communicated to the customer by the service provider.
Can I upgrade from Ola Care to Ola Care + within the period of validity of my subscription ?
No, once purchased, you cannot upgrade your plan from Ola Care to Ola Care+ within the period of validity
Is the Ola Care/Care+ subscription package transferable?
The Ola Care/Care+ subscription is non-transferable on change of ownership of the scooter.
How do I cancel my subscription to Ola Care/Care+?
If you cancel your scooter booking, your subscription will also be canceled and a refund will be issued. If you purchase your subscription after scooter delivery, cancellation is not possible.
It is non-transferable too; even on change of ownership of the scooter.
Can I avail home service if I am not a subscriber of Ola Care/ Care+ ?
We now have 400+ centers in our service network, where you can bring your scooter and get it serviced for no convenience charge.
Home service is available only to Ola Care + customers.
I purchased my scooter in December 2022 . Will I get free service for a year ?
As promised all customers who have purchased their scooter in December 2022 will be provided free Ola Care+ subscription for 1 year.
How do I install the home charger?
You can opt in for home charger installation by paying Rs. 2,359 while making the balance payment for your scooter. Our service champion will come to your house to install the home charger.

Do I have to pay to take a test ride?

You can book your home test ride via the Ola App or on the Ola Electric website.

If the delivery address of the scooter is different from the address mentioned in Aadhar, what additional address proofs are required for registration?
The address proof requirement for your scooter registration varies based on the state where the scooter is getting registered. Refer to the state-wise list of documents which are valid as address proof here. The same will also be prompted at the time of uploading the requisite documents after paying successfully.
Can I get an Early/Priority delivery?
We are trying our best to get the scooters out to you as fast as we can. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to expedite your dispatch, but we assure you this will be worth the wait!
When will my scooter be delivered?
The dispatch window can be viewed on the Ola app- login to your app, click on the Ola scooter card and go to the order details page to view the dispatch window and invoice for each order.
Once dispatched from the Future factory, scooter delivery can take up to 3 weeks depending on the time needed for the RTO registration process and the final location of delivery.
I am unable to see the feedcard and book a test ride through the Ola App, what should I do?
Home test rides are now live in select cities and locations. You will receive a notification from us once we are available in your location. You can then go ahead and book your test ride through the Ola App and experience the revolution!
What documents are needed to be submitted for the registration of my ola scooter?
At the time of making the balance payment, you will need to upload a scanned image of your Aadhaar card along with your Aadhaar number, as proof of identity. The name on the Aadhar card is the name in which the scooter will be registered and FAME subsidy can be claimed. You will also need to upload a scanned copy of your PAN card. Additional address proof may be required, depending on the state regulations.
At the time of registration, your registration partner will inform you incase of any variation in document requirements by your local RTO and guide you through the entire process.

What happens when my battery is replaced under warranty?
Warranty policy will continue to be in-force, per the original validity conditions (3 years or 50,000 kms in the Base battery warranty period from the date of delivery or as per top-up warranty period, i.e., (5 year, 60000 km) or (8 year, 80000 km) or (8 Year, 100000 km) or (8 year 125,000 km) if purchased by the customer.
How can I access my warranty policy document?
Additional battery warranty certificate is an additional document that will be emailed to you on your purchase of the vehicle. Standard warranty is available in the owner’s manual.
What is the coverage period of the base warranty?
The vehicle warranty provides coverage for 3 years or 40,000 kilometers (additional 10,000 kilometers for the battery), whichever is earlier. This warranty helps protect customers from unnecessary costs associated with battery or parts replacement, offering three years of peace of mind regarding the battery and its related components, while also reducing the overall cost of ownership.
What is covered in the base warranty?
The vehicle warranty covers the battery and vehicle components for 3 years or 40,000 kms (additional 10,000 kms for battery), whichever is earlier. Please refer to your standard warranty manual set out in the owner’s manual for more details. As part of the base battery warranty, batteries will be replaced for any manufacturing/design defects caused faults or if battery health degrades during the warranty period. Base warranty period is defined as the coverage till 3-yrs or 50,000 kms (whichever is earlier). All retail customers getting delivery of their S1 or booking their S1 starting 14th Nov’2024 will be eligible for this warranty. All models delivered before 14th Feb 2024 will continue to have old warranty terms.
What does the base warranty cover?
The company will provide replacement/repair of the battery and associated parts relating to the battery only that are damaged due to manufacturing defects or workmanship, free of cost including the labor charges till such time the offer lasts. The defective parts will be the company's property.
Is the base warranty transferable?
Is the base warranty transferable? Yes. In case of the sale of a vehicle to another person, the Base Warranty will be transferred to the new owner.
How can I claim the base warranty?
In case of a defect in the battery and associated parts of the battery, bring the scooter to an OLA authorized service center along with the certificate of warranty emailed to you. If the defective part is covered under the warranty, the center will automatically repair/replace the battery free of charge
What is not covered under the base warranty plan?
Scooter's non-battery parts come with standard warranty of 3 years or 40,000 kms (whichever earlier). Any natural wear and tear, physical damage, consumables, parts and conditions excluded in manufacturer warranty, customer negligence related damage, modifications/alterations, deletion/defacement/alternation of VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and BIN (Battery Identification Number), theft, vehicle abuse, accident, flooding, fire, etc. Negligence to charge battery, leading to damage to battery is NOT covered under the warranty plan. In the case of top-up warranty, the warranty period is defined as coverage till 5 years or 60,000 km (whichever is earlier). S1 Pro, S1 Air, S1 X+ (3KWh), S1 X (3KWh, 4KWh) are eligible to purchase the top-up warranty within 12 months from the date of delivery of the scooter. This is applicable only on the aforementioned scooters delivered on or after 14 Nov 2024. S1 X (2KWh) is NOT eligible for this policy.
Who is eligible to buy top-up warranty (8 year, 80000 kms)?
In the case of top-up warranty, the warranty period is defined as coverage till 8 years or 80,000 km (whichever is earlier). S1 Pro, S1 Air, S1 X+ (3KWh), S1 X (3KWh, 4KWh) are eligible to purchase the top-up warranty within 12 months from the date of delivery of the scooter. This is applicable only on the aforementioned scooters delivered on or after 14 Nov 2024. S1 X (2KWh) is NOT eligible for this policy.

What is covered in the top-up warranty (5 year, 60000 km; 8 year, 80000 km; 8 Year, 100,000 km or 8 year 125,000 km)?
The company will provide replacement/repair of the battery and associated parts of the battery only that are damaged due to manufacturing defects or workmanship, free of cost including the labor charges till the time the offer lasts. The defective parts will be the company's property. This also ensures that the battery is replaced in case the health of the battery falls below 70%.
Are the top-up warranties transferable?
Yes. In case of sale of the vehicle to another person, both the top-up warranties will be transferred to the new owner.
